Removing Ticks On Humans?

Looking for the most effective way to get the ENTIRE tick out from under the skin,its on my thigh.Do not want to leave the head under the skin.

i had a tick on me yesterday and we used peanut butter to get it out of the skin. it worked quite well and didn't hurt or anything.

Try rubbing cooking oil on it. The usually hate that and come right off. The next best is rubbing alcohol.
Reply:You can remove it with a special tick tweezer. You need to grip it's head and pull it straight upward with a steady slow motion to make sure that everything comes out. But be careful not to squeeze the tick to much to avoid release of its fluids. Afterwards remember to disinfect the area and watch the bite site for the next days.





DON'T use nail polish, gasoline or try to burn, prick or crush it as this increases the risk of the tick releasing infected fluids into your system.
