I noticed my 7 yr old has this tiny bump on the side of his neck . can someone tell me what it can be?

at first i thought it was a pimple ,but it has somewhat of a little balllike consistinsy. its not big at all it just showed up yesterday. it also looks like a dark color under the skin. almost like he bumped it. the best way i can describe it is it feels like a little lumpy ball under his skin, but like i said its not big at all. could it be an ingrown hair or something like a bruise? any ideas would be great, iseem to panick alot!! thanks

My son used to get this...I did the panic thing too.





He had swollen lymph nodes. It almost always was followed by a virus (cold, flu, etc) of some kind.





I would take him into the doctor just to be sure that their is not a problem. More than likely, you have nothing to worry about.

It can be millions of things to be honest! Not 2 alarm u or anything but in my experiance with an unexplained lump its best 2 get it checked out asap
