To start with, make sure you consume a healthy and balanced diet and minimise junk food, spicy food, oily food, sugary food, fizzy drinks, tea and coffee. Replace these with fresh fruits and vegetables and natural fruit juices.

There is really no permanent remedy for open pores. Toner tightens pores temporarily, so make it a point to apply toner regularly, after cleansing. Also, wash your face with cool water.

Clean and Clear is a good face wash for oily skin. Also, open pores on your nose may mean that you have a tendency to develop blackheads. If this is the case, get your blackheads removed reguarly with the help of blackhead removal strips. Using a face scrub on your nose helps prevent the formation of blackheads. (Use a scrub but DONT "scrub" hard, soft and gentle to your skin only) Make sure you use a scrub that suits you, becuase certain scrubs can cause a rash. You may have to test out different brands. You can get them at the grocery and drug stores. Apply astringent / toner to your face every night, after cleansing.

For scars and open pores, apply cucumber juice to your face, with a few drops of lemon juice. Wash off after ten minutes. Your complexion will look more even-toned.

Or

another external remedy, for the open pores, just mix lemon juice, tomato juice, rose water, plain yogurt and apply it on ur face for 20 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Eay the leftover yogurt.

Ice cold water is excellent for the face. It increases circulation, brightens and tightens the skin and temporarily closes pores.

Use ice cube on that spot you popped.

Skip applying moisturiser for now until your skin clears, unless you know what moisturiser suits you. Certain moisturising lotions may not suit you, so you will have to experiment to find a moisturiser that doesn't cause pimples. When you buy a moisturiser, check the date of manufacture, and go in for oil-free moisturiser.

Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day.

The lemon juice and cucumber should help. If you use foundation makeup to cover up, be sure to start all over with your cleaning your face when you get home.

Wear a sunblock whenever you go out in the sun.

I hope this helps.
