What the hell is it?

I keep getting these..things UNDER the skin of my lips. It is like a pimple, but under the skin, and it is a hard white ball. I have to take a needle to pry them out(and it is painful, but not as must as leaveing it in there) What is it and how do i stop from getting them?

hi......, these are whiteheads jus try out any saloon or mans parlours they have little tools to flush out these cheeky bumps under lips with minimal chrges........ i did d same

You should go see a derma. It could be whiteheads.
Reply:sounds like herpes, don't try to pop it, just put some toothpaste on it overnight and it should alleviate the itching uncomfortable feeling;

I woud make a small 50/50 solution of paroxide and water and soak your lips or rinse your mouth depending on where the bumps are inside our out side. A couple of times a day.


If you can't sink your lips into a dixie cup them moisten a paper towel and keep the solution on for say 30 seconds. Do not be concerned if you see white foam that means it is working to clean the area out. best of luck
Reply:don't mess w/ it. did you feel a tingling sensation before it appeared? this is a sign of a herpes lesion. this is viral %26amp; you will have this virus in your body all of your life. go to the dermatologist %26amp; he/she will give you a prescription for an anti-viral oral medication (like valtrex) %26amp; a topical medication like zorivax (sp?). PLEASE do not share food w/ anyone or straws/drinks as it is very contaigeous.
