I have bad acne, and i use pro- active but it doesn't seem to be working and it's making my skin really dry and peely. Can you find me a cheap way to solve my problem?
What can I use for acne, that is under 50 dollars?
Girl, I already know your problem. In high school I had horrible acne. When I say horrible I mean big red cysts everywhere. No one can get RID of acne, but the key to CONTROLLING it is a good routine. You dont need expensive stuff because the ingredients are pretty much the same. The only difference is that the more expensive stuff has soothing ingredients which dont overdry your skin. When you really think about, it's not that important what acne medication you use as long as you keep your skin moisturized. MOISTURIZING is very important and I cant stress it enough. You have to maintain a good balance. Over dried skin just irritates your skin and makes it break out more, provoking a never ending cycle. You should use products from the "MD Skincare" line you can buy it expensive stores like Sephora or cheat like I sometimes do. If you buy it on ebay you can get it for 50% less. The MD Skincare tinted moisturizer is great because it looks like makeup and is good for you but its not really makeup. They also have these daily facial peels that show great results in a matter of days. I'm finally clear after 3 horrific years so I'm glad to help. And remember, if you want to look flawless NO PICKING!

Acnefree is a good regimen, but instead of using the cleanser they give you use Noxzema Daily Cream Cleanser. This cleanser will be more gentle so it won't irritate your skin as much. This all together is probably about 25$ at Longs!
Reply:try Clearasil
Reply:I personally use Tea Tree Oil because it is well-known for its drawing properties, meaning it draws the infection (the pimple) out. I also use it on my acne regularly because it reduces the redness within hours of putting it on, and it works amazingly on my pimples to keep them away. It's very safe and doesn't hurt at all.. It is 100% natural with no "fake" additives in it or anything like that... Best of all it is cheap and easy to find, such as at Walgreens (if you have one around), or at stores that sell health-foods and natural medicines. It is a very common home remedy and is very handy in medicine cabinets or First Aid Kits because it is a "cure-all" meaning it is not just for one thing in particular, it can help with many things.
I use it, and I love it. ProActiv didn't work for me, and nothing else really has either.. but this stuff has pretty much done the trick.
Goodluck :)
Reply:Try tetracycline type antibiotics available only by prescription.
Reply:After a visit to a regular GP for Tetracycline(which is also cheap from Wal-Mart) there really isn't anything else you need. If you can't even go to your GP for a Prescription, I would try Clean %26amp; Clear products. Either their Continuous Control or their Advantage kits(which aren't that cheap anyway). If your skin has been getting really dry and peely, you can fix that by using a moisturizor each night or morning or both. For acne, I suggest using one from Clean%26amp;Clear perhaps their Dual Action type or their Shine-Free one. Both are really good, but your acne still won't clear up without antibiotics. I say this because Proactive is meant for superficial acne(acne that isn't a biological issue), and what it sounds like you have is caused by a biology issue. Hope this helps you.
