Just married...and having a great time, but problems down under...?

My husbad and I just recently got married and are on our honeymoon. Before the honeymoon we were both virgins and we waited for each other, we've had a wonderful vacation together. But...here is the question, recently my husband has been complaining at a sore spot on his penis right below the "mushroom" looking part. I looked carefully at it this morning and its a line toward the tip of his penis of broken skin. Is this because we've been very sexually active this week? He complains of it hurting when entering into me and when fluids touch it, it hurts more. Its not bleeding or anything, its just like a carpet burn or something on the penis right below the tip. Please help? Can this cause problems and get infected or

I've had similar problems if things have been a little more rough then I'm used to. I'd give it a little while to rest up and be a bit more gentle until it's used to the activities as well as make sure you're using enough lubricant.

Relax it is from overuse. Keep it clean and refrain from "activity" for a few days until it heals.

I applaud the fact that you were virgins until you got married I wish I did that.
Reply:The critical issue is "When did the sore spot appear?" If it started before the wedding, it might be something as simple as he nicked his penis with his zipper. If it started since your first time, then it may very well be a lack of lubrication.

Yes, it can get infected. Have a doctor check it out. He will prescribe a topical antibiotic, and he may want to test for a variety of STD's. You can get STD's without having sex so I wouldn't use that as a test of his honesty.
Reply:It sounds like soreness from friction but if it hasn't calmed down in a couple of days then I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it might be thrush, which can be cleared up fairly quickly with a cream that you can buy over the counter at any pharmacy. Have you noticed any discomfort or itching yourself? If so, then it's highly likely that you've both got "the honeymoon disease". Thrush isn't serious though and you'll be right as rain in a few days.
Reply:Yeah, you guys are going to have to stop until he's back to normal. It sounds like there wasn't enough lubrication used. Use plenty of lubricating gel. And reapply as needed! The best is KY Silky Warming. It lasts a long time- doesn鈥檛 get goopey, sticky. (regular ky gets sticky) Even if you鈥檙e plenty wet when you start- after a while- you will need to use some lube. It is a little unusual about your hubby because typically it's the woman who feels sore first. Was he using a condom? Condoms have a little bit of powder on the inside and that might have caused the chafing. When he鈥檚 all better- if he is using a condom- put just a dab of lube on his tip and then put on the condom. That will fix it. Now, if his sore spot doesn鈥檛 go away in a couple of days- he should see a doc.
Reply:Funny folk - going on a honeymoon and don't get out of bed? Go out in the country and look around like a couple of tourists, come happy couple, dance, sing, eat and drink and laugh a lot..refrain from sex for at least a period that it takes to get the blighter relieved. I've heard of wacky old bats but don't wack it if is not broken. Relax for a few days - you'll be back in the sack before you know it. Congrats by they way - enjoy yerselves
Reply:those things happen, most likely from to much friction. it should heal on it's own in a few days. it's rare to get infections from that down there. just keep giving it lots of kisses and everything should be just fine
Reply:Yep, you've worn it out. Just kidding, it is calle rug rash or carpet burn as you said. Put some petroleum jelly on it when it is not in use, that will help it heal. He needs to wipe it off before sex, of course. Also might be helpful to have him use a condom, will keep the skin from getting damaged further. Continuing to penetrate without a condom will just worsen the situation. After sex, and before he goes to sleep, doctor it with the petroleum jelly (vaseline) that way it can have 7 or 8 hours to help with the healing.
