I have a sharp stining pain on my right side a little under my breast what could this be?

it wont go away . it is extremly painful ... feels like a bee keeps stinging me over and over . the skin over the pain is also numb . its been going on for about 5-6 weeks. i am also pregnant

Reply:Honey you need to talk to your doctor. Any time you are pregnant and you have something causing you pain, you need to be checked. What ever it is that is hurting you could also be hurting and harming the baby.

i get that kind of pian before and during my period but i think that is just me =D

Reply:Could be gallbladder related like gallstones (cholelithiasis)or cholecystitis. I would make an appointment and have your doctor order an ultrasound. Is is especially painful after you eat greasy, fatty foods? Also, do you have nausea or vomiting?

Reply:my wife had the same thing i think thats where the baby's head was putting pressure on nerves next to the rib cage.

Reply:oh well im 9 months preg and i did have alot of stinging pains in both of my breasts. its cuz your breat are getting larger, and filling with milk to feed your baby. your body is going to go through ALOTTTT of changes. i didnt think that when i was in the 1st trimester of my preg, that any changes would happen.

Reply:Gosh, this should be discussed with your doc. Depending on how far along you are, it could be some part of the baby pressing against your ribs. Happened to me, but that doesn't mean that that is what is bothering you. Please talk to your doc.
