EVERYTIME I PITCH I GET A BLOOD BUBBLE UNDER THE NAIL OF MY INDEX FINGER. wHY AND HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?

I throw 90 mph and it always happens during a game. I used a pumis stone to kill dead skin but this doesnt go away.

You're getting blood blisters, and like most blisters it's due to your skin no being callous enough. The only way to build callous on your finger is to keep pitching and once the blood blister starts, stop pitching, let it heal and then do it again.

If it starts to happen stop pitching becuz if you keep pitching it hurts more.


Then put a wet iced towel on it.
