My cat has a marble size round lump under his right front leg (like his armpit).?

It is between the skin and his muscle. It is movable. It does not appear to bother him. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

This could be a fatty tumor, a.k.a lipoma, but this is also one of the locations of the lymph nodes. Lymphoma, or cancer of the lymph system, is very serious. I would get your cat to the vet ASAP, where they may want to do a biopsy. If your cat needs a dental, this is the perfect time to kill two birds with one stone!

It could be a fatty lump but I'd get it checked out by your vet as it could be cancer.
Reply:sounds like an absess, usually caused by bites from other cats,x
Reply:Sorry it sounds like it might be the start of cancer. My grandmas cat had the same thing and had to be put down because of it. Take your cat to the vet and have them check it out.
Reply:Please take your cat to the vet as soon as you can and have this checked. It could very well be cancer, and you need to find out as soon as you can, for your cat's sake and your own.
